This pair of sandals was my first attempt at shoe design and construction. For the uppers, I felted hair that was shorn from my pet goldendoodle. I blended the hair with sheep's wool and dry felted it, though not completely, to create a more 3-D and plush look. I decided to create a square toe sole, and have circular heels, to contrast with the organic-ness of the materials.
